NB (to pay particular attention). In the next future we want to start a research on medico-legal issues pertinent to Dentistry: in the European Countries laws and regulations regarding the conscious sedation techniques performed by dentists is an ambiguous and heterogenuous topic, for example in Spain and Netherlands the venipuncture and the intravenous benzodiazepine administration performed by a dentist are illegal; there is an urgent need for clarification about this problem at the top level of Dental Anaesthesia Societies, involved European Institutions, European Dental Schools etc.
